Torri-Ja’Net Pierce, M.D.
Dr. Pierce was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida A&M University and received her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Pierce completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Pierce enjoys all aspects of women’s health particularly preventive health care, high risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, sexual dysfunction, and minimally invasive surgery. Her special interest includes getting the patient involved in their physical well being. Dr. Pierce believes a healthier life style begins with patient education.
Dr. Pierce is a Junior Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board-eligible. Her interests outside of women’s health include music, outdoor sports and recreation in addition to spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Pierce is also fluent in medical Spanish.
